Department for Public Services and Social Policy in Kosovo and Metohija

The Department for Public Services and Social Policy in Kosovo and Metohija performs tasks related to the promotion of the educational system:

• Monitoring, analyzing needs and proposing measures for the promotion of the health system;;
• Monitoring and promoting the situation in the area of environmental protection;
• Monitoring and promoting the situation in the area of sports and physical culture;;
• Functioning and promotion of public services in Kosovo and Metohija;
• Functioning of institutions of the Republic of Serbia in Kosovo and Metohija;
• Social policy pertaining to monitoring and promotion of social protection;
• Implementation of the activities in the fight against poverty;
• Analyzing the process of employment and unemployment rates in Kosovo and Metohija; and other tasks under the scope of the Department.

The Department for Public Services and Social Policy in Kosovo and Metohija is comprised of the following internal units:

1. Group for public services;
2. Group for social issues and humanitarian aid.
