Djurić: Amfilohije’s unseemly attack on the Head of Government
In an unsuitable clash with the President Aleksandar Vučić, Amfilohije Radović attacked today the Head of the Serbian Government, Ana Brnabić, in a very unseemly manner.
Such indecent allusions are unworthy of an Orthodox bishop and I am sure are not the stance of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, as a hardworking and competent person, enjoys the support of all members of the government, who today, I am sure, share my disappointment with the way this church dignitary spoke about her, without any reason.
I call upon all different minded politicians to not lose the sense of decency in their public appearances, and this especially applies to people whose task is to be shepherds and care for the spiritual health of the people.
